While I look forward to checking out this series, isn't the licensing of the show old news? The press-release might not be old, but I remember hearing about it before Christmas... [/me searches] Ah yes, AoDVD's front-page news from 20 Dec cited an Anime Insider article. I just presumed that a magazine article that wasn't denied was good enough, but I guess that any retailer purchasers might need more to go on than that.
Still/promo art looks good, but I don't know how the animation is, nor the story. Rent the first disc, and perhaps buy the future thinpak?

I'm looking forward to it, personally. I'm a fan of Ishinomori's work and his Tezuka-esque art style, and over in North America, they don't get half the attention and exposure (or, in the case of Cyborg 009 and Kikaider, the respect) they deserve.
