Sounds like a prequel. Well, if I can interpret the title correctly, it does.
Think about it.

Ouvertüre (German) = Overture (English).
Well, it's not the first time seeing Japanese confusing "b" and "v" (they sound the same in Japanese). I've seen official merchandise of Fate/stay night featuring "Saver."
And no, I'm not talking about Faith/stay knight the live-action adult movie.

Well, I couldn't think of a good compound word like Engrish to describe it. (doihongo, maybe?)
The overture normally comes first, right?

One of the new secret battlechips introduced in Megaman Battle Network 4 (and subsequent releases) was the sword chip known as "Z-Saver".
I'm wondering how common a misconception that really is, and if someone should point it out to them. >_>

OVA??????? NANIIIIII????? This looks promising. Seeing as I enjoyed the series. I enjoyed the first half. Wasn't so sure about the second. But that's what happens when 2nd seasons take a different turn from what you're used to. But I enjoyed it nontheless. Now an OVA I didn't expect. Hell, with 'Mai-Otome' getting one why not.
Now will someone hurry up and license the first 2 seasons. ONEGAIIIII~????

In fact, the format of the new installment has not been announced yet (you could tell it from that I haven't added it into the Encyc). The official site called it a "special" (特別編); whether it would be aired on TV, with single or multiple episodes, as a prequel or a sequel, etc., are still open to speculations.

The fact that the front image seems to suggest a focus on Suigintou makes me infinitely happy. Perhaps this will be a focus on her origins and the motivation behind her actions up through the first two TV series.
Also, one has to wonder if this is an indication that a third season is on the way.

I haven't seen much of Rozen Maiden yet, but so far it seems to be a great series. Very glad to hear that even more is coming.
Whether it's a prequel or a sequel, or something else, this series seems to be strong enough and rich enough to keep puting out high quality product.
Contrary to the whole "less is more" mindset, if its good quality story with solid art and acting, more is always better!
Is there any talk about licencing for the Rozen Maiden productions out so far?
