I'm guilty of Bleach and Buso Renkin. Not like Buso Renkin was good IMHO it was like pepper spray to the eyes.

I would like to point out that although Marvel's Halo is not a manga, Nihei Tsutomu who wrote the Blame! manga, is involved in the project. Can we say it is partially manga?

Hmm, they have Naruto 3 different times on that list. I'm assuming that's because each time pertains to a different volume?

Good job for manga. While the Halo graphic novel may have broke records, trust me, you'll have people who will buy anything with the name Halo on it. However, I have seen some pictures for it, and it's quality stuff (hasn't arrived at our book store yet though). I'm actually surprised a manga toppled it!

I'm thinking many people bought it because it's related to Kenshin I love Fruits Basket, and it's also amazing how sucessful the manga is, without any TV screenings. |
