I watched it on YT and i am so super-hyped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really want Swtich for this, but my parents don't have money for me to earn it!
But still, it looks really neat and i noticed how characters have lyp-sync, is this game going to have full voice acting!?!?!?!
Fingers crossed!
NOTE: This is my first ANN post of 400th overall so far.

@Aca Vuska , I hope you manage to get the game and Switch somehow! I'm sure they'll have Pokemon bundle at some point
After the original reveal I wasn't too excited. FPS looked bad and the starters looked lazy in design. But this trailer really got me hyped! First time I've been excited for a Pokemon game since Gen 1 honestly lol....

The graphics look so much more fluid and detailed than the Let's Go games and I'm already really impressed. This is what I want Pokemon on the Switch to look like. Are we seriously going to get battle with giant sized Pokemon? That's just way too cool. I'm a bit mixed on the legendary Pokemon. So far I think the sword dog has the cooler design but I'm really excited for these games.

Now that we know the date it's time for the usual brain teaser before buying a new Pokemon game, which one to buy ? Shirokuro Sansui versus Iwatani Naofumi, either way i'm really hype with such trailer.

Same here. I buy Pokemon games based on the cover Legendary (because I'm superficial like that) and usually don't have a problem choosing my favorite. I'm not too fond of either design, but right now I'm leaning towards Zamazenta (the Shield doggo).

I can live without the giant Pokeball/Pokemon thing (I don't watch videos with sound on, so don't know what it's called), it just seems super cheesy. Hopefully it's not something you actually have to do and can just be avoided much like the Mega Evolution thing (I mean, at least in Omega Ruby I never actually needed to use it even though it was there).

It was already confirmed that there are Pokemon you can only catch by using Dynamax, the thing that will turn Pokemon giant, as part of the Max Raid battles with other trainers/support NPCs. And it looks like gyms are going to be heavy on their use as well. So it's probably not going to be super easy to avoid, but maybe it can be done?
I'm personally hyped about this. <3 I can't wait to learn more between now and the game's release!

I really don’t care for the Dynamax system. It looks super cheesy, but definitely not as cheesy as the Z move dances from Alola.
I just want my Megas back.
Wolf sword doggo looks spiffy. Guess I’ll be grabbing Sword.

Most of the new pokemon are okay at worst, but I really love Korviknight. I might buy if they have at least a few more pokemon I can get attached to.

I wonder if Galar has a Royal Family in these games. It would be interesting to see a character based on Queen Elizabeth or Prince William.

I really thought it would've been cool if the Champ was named Arthur.

My first impression of the new Dynamax System is it looked kinda neat but it doesn't actually offer anything beyond that (unless I'm missing some special power-up the Pokemon gets when Super-Sized).
The open world look is stunning, and I think a couple of the new designs are cute and cool (dark bird, lil' sheepie). The legendary doggos are underwhelming imho. I was too distracted by the shield-for-a-face/front to really take in the rest of the one, and the other just came off as "exact same doggo but carrying a sword," which almost seemed like a joke.
Hopefully more Poke-designs will be fun and interesting for this gen.

I'll still need to see the exclusives before deciding, but right now I'm definitely leaning towards Sword version.
The rival's cute.

It does offer a power-up. The Direct mentioned it making the Pokemon stronger and allowing them to use "Max" version of their moves.

Max Pokemon is basically Mega Evolution except they don't have to create a new model for the Pokemon so it's easier and they don't have to do anything other than blowup the Pokemon model to 10 times the size and give it a stat boost.
I doubt Mega Evolutions will ever come back. Gamefreak has a habit of introducing cool mechanics then throwing them away the next generation of games. Which sucks because Megas were a great way to add new stuff in the same generations, since ORAS had new Megas from XY so we essentially got new Pokemon outside of the generation change. USUM didn't even do new Alolan Forms. Sadly Gamefreak knows they can put minimal effort into these games and still sell millions. Megas were definately my favorite mechanic they introduced, second would be soaring in the sky with Latias/Latios in ORAS. That totally made the game feel more like a RPG where you just got the airship and could fly around the world map and was so much better than using Fly from a Pokemon.
