Yen Press? It's time to nab this series.

Too bad this decade haven't seen new Slayers anime, and there was so many sequels, revivals, and whatnot.

The anime went so far off the source material it would need the Fruits Basket treatment if they wanted to do it right.

We had a Slayers "revival" in 2009, but unfortunately Slayers (R)evolution, while not bad in its own right, did not really manage to live up to the previous three seasons from the 90s. I'd imagine it did not perform well enough to warrant further anime seasons.
Still, if I'm proven wrong and more Slayers anime will be incoming, that'd be more than fine by me. Smile

From what I heard about the novels in certain parts that's actually a good thing..

I would love to see someone rescue license the Slayers novels if they're going to be making more.

Huh, it is odd that Lina doesn't have the Demon's Blood Talismans on. Wish, someone pick up the light novels, so I can read them or just Brotherhood Slayers

That's due to the events in spoiler[the last novel before this revival, aka novel 15], which was one of the ones never translated.

Will we finally see her sister after the 20 years of buildup from that?

Huh, I wish I had known about this earlier, Well better late than never...

So, if I understand it correctly Kanzaka-san has started publishing more Slayers novels. That's good, even very good. Has there been any talk from anyone even remotely official of going beyond just serializing the novels in Japan, to maybe translations or manga? New anime would be lovely, and probably as unlikely as the sun rising in the west, but I suppose hope can always spring eternal, lol.
