I was interested in checking this out, but the translated novels were digital only. Guess I'll check the anime out.

I love reading these novels, this is fantastic news. Doesn't look like they've announced the studio or production staff yet, but I can only hope this production gets half the money and attention Shield Hero did, it deserves it.

I know the VRMMO premise may sound old-hat here in 2019, but i promise that this one is worth it.

I haven't read these novels but I've heard a lot of good things about them, so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm the translator of the series, really hyped for this.
One thing though, ANN...

>Yui Ogura as Kyūko

The character is named Cyco, please fix this to prevent the spread of false information.

EDIT:
I see you guys fixed it promptly. Thank you!

Ooooooh, this one is getting a series. It's been on my radar since the ANN reviews for the first few books (I rarely read LNs themselves, since they all seem to get animated these days), and I certainly would have watched it even if they hadn't gotten Soma Saito as the lead. Now I just need an airdate.

J-Novel club has also announced they will be releasing the light novels in print, tentatively starting this September.

More than likely it will be 12-13 epi. and will probably cover the first 2-3 vol. of th LN series, as that it is what typically the case with LN/WN-based TV anime. However, because the LN is based off of a WN series, you could make it a 24-epi. TV anime by incorporating content found in the WN but not yet given a LN version. However, that might not work so well seeing as how the TV series is likely acting as a promo to buy the LN version vs. reading the WN version.

Vol. 1-2 are both somewhat possible to run as full arcs but the story that begins at vol 3 ends at around vol 5 so that's not really gonna fly very well.

...yeah there's no way they'll run out of LN content without rushing the show to death.
