Honestly, I'm really pleased with all of these licenses. Each of these has some merit and I'm excited about all of them!

Quote:
The company describes the An Archdemon's Dilemma - How to Love Your Elf Bride manga:

Zagan is feared by the masses as an evil sorcerer. Both socially awkward and foulmouthed, he spends his days studying sorcery while beating down any trespassers within his domain. One day he's invited to a dark auction, and what he finds there is an elven slave girl of peerless beauty, Nephy. Having fallen in love at first sight, Zagan uses up his entire fortune to purchase her, but being a poor conversationalist, he has no idea how to properly interact with her. Thus, the awkward cohabitation of a sorcerer who has no idea how to convey his love and his slave who yearns for her master but has no idea how to appeal to him begins.

I can't believe they turned an old /tg/ meme into a light novel.

Which one? Cooking + Isekai seems to be a common theme these days.

Definite:
Isekai Omotenahi Gohan
Restaurant to Another World
Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi

Secondary:
Isekai Nonbiri Nouka (arguably farming/harem, but the quality of his food and unusal cooking plays a big part)
Death March (although it is not the primary focus, cooking is a major part)
Nidoume no Jinsei wo Isekai de (same as above)

And that's just off the top of my head.

I'm a bit disappointed. I misread the two separate novels mentioned in the article's title as a single series, "Cooking with Wild Game, I Shall Survive Using Potions!" What came to mind is a story where someone in a medieval fantasy world has to survive on wild game (because who didn't in those days), but they're such a poor cook that it always turns out awful, and/or they and whoever else eats their food gets food poisoning. So they always have to fix things up with potions, whether as something akin to dumping a lot of sauce on the terrible food, or to save their lives from food poisoning, to be able to survive.

What I had in my head sounded much more amusing to me than the actual stories of the two individual works. Oh well. Sad

Wow. I only know about Restaurant to Another World and didn't think that Death March was a cooking one.

Like I said cooking isn't the main theme of Death March, but is a major secondary theme. Not that you could tell from the anime, both due to changes and due to it picking up more as the story progresses. But yes, an important and recurring element of the story is cooking; Satou making magical tools for cooking, how he prepares meals and determines what is edible, and the rest of the casts' reactions to his cooking.
