Maybe the preview DVD contain more than one episode? Or an episode other than the fist one? Because I know that each boxed set contains 13 episodes.

If it's on a DVD than it must be the anime. I just don't know if it will have the Japanese audio also.

Ah well, peopole who love to watch Naruto so much, should get the Japanese DVD's. They are uncut, have Japanese audio and the cover looks much better than the R1 DVDs...

Well, it's a preview DVD so, it's obviously be the anime, since as far as I know the manga is pretty much uncut...

It'll be interesting to see the contents of the DVD, it'll probably be just one or two episodes but it may also have the Japanese track as well as a change or two to the english track...

I wish that they'd preview about episode 5 though. It's more a problem with the english though I think, cause they get better (the actors) as they go on. Cool

OT: Has anyone seen the commercials for the edited DVD's? The narrator sounded like he couldn't care less about it.

People don't buy DVDs for the covers. They buy them for the content. You're just looking for an excuse not to support dubs.

I think it was some random guy who phoned in his lines. That's what it sounded like.

...Uncut normally indicates that it will have the original voice track...and It will Viz has said so...Why would you get R2's if you don't know Japanese when a company is releasing a better R1 set of DVD's...

R2's cost around 30-40$ to import for 3-4 episodes...the Uncut Boxsets are 50 for 13 episodes...

and VA's have also said that some lines and dialouge will be changed for the DVD release...and You have not even seen the cover for the uncut DVD's...
