I didn't bring it up during the last monster girl stint, but I think Bird Cafe (Tori Kissa, I think?) needs some more love, especially by people who like the quiet, gentle and sometimes weird slice-of-life kind of stories. The artist actually did one chapter for the second volume of the "I (heart) Monster Girls" manga with Papi visiting said cafe, as well as drawing Papi for the cover of volume 3.
The monster part comes with most of the cast save the main lead, who is human, but the remaining ones are various kinds of birds and bird people, all of which talk. The two main females are basically bird people with the head and upper body of a human, but the lower body and "arms" (wings) of birds. It's sort of halfway a 4koma comedy thing, but with some elements that makes me certain manga like YKK has served as an inspirational source, except without the melancholy bent. |

My Girlfriend is a T-Rex was a short, but awesome read and I can't wait to own Oh, My Sweet Alien! on my shelves.

Kind of disappointed a bit to not see more anthro characters considering this trend of monster characters in anime and manga. They're all mostly human with some nonhuman features. But maybe I'm just weird that way.
For the poll, I chose the Polar Tang. (I had to look up what its name was.) For the record, so no one else has to look it up, this is Trafalgar Law's submarine. To date, it's the only submarine in the series, and that alone provides it way better maneuverability and accessible areas than any other ship, at least in their unmodified states. |

A resounding win for the dragons this week, surely.

I’ve been reading The Demon Who Became My Sister and I’ve been fairly enjoying it. I just wonder if it will get an anime at some point in the future. It’s a lewd one, but I like to believe it could happen.

About monster girls, the Seven Seas survey is open again, and I put as a suggestion Neko Musume Michikusa Nikki < monster girl cuteness all around, a cute and fun comedy revolving around the daily life of a cat girl and all the other creatures she meets.
A short anecdote about the creator of that manga, Ike; he, and Kei Murayama(creator of Centaur's Life), were the two who recommended OKAYADO to his current editor(Mikio Ikai) at Comic Ryū, which eventually served as the start of Monster Musume. |

For the survey, I know it's fairly recent in the manga, but Capone Bege's ship, Nostra Castello, is my favorite ship design in recent memory.

My vote goes to the Going Marry, I loved that ship, it was a shame that it sank.

I'm, sorry for poor English grammar, I hope my post isn't hard to understand.
I strongly agree! I have found only one manga where there is a female MC that doesn't look human. It's Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? and I love it, but I need more. And I would prefer a more humanoid monster, like an anthro character you mentioned. Most of the time it's just human girls with horns, sharp teeth, wings or a tail.
Mahoutsukai no Yome, Dorohedoro, Overlord, Totsukuni no Shoujo, No Guns Life (just look at his awesome head! I love it!), Niehime to Kemono no Ou (but he sometimes spoiler[turns into a human]), Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (MC spends a lot of time as a slime), Re:Monster (though he looks like a standard bishounen and I hate his personality...), Somali to Mori no Kamisama, Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Maou no Hisho, Spirit Migration. And, if you're ok with sentient objects, I strongly recommend Tensei shitara Ken deshita. It looks like there's a lot of them, but most of these mangas don't even have a romantic subplot. And I find half of them decent at best (the ones I would recommend are listed first and stop at Re:Monster, except for Tensei shitara Ken deshita, which I love). I still read them, because I love monster guys and girls, but ehh. I would love to have more to choose from. |

Beasts of Abigaile for that, I guess. |

I know Ancient Magus' Bride (been reading it since the first English volume) quite well. I know Overlord too, as well Dorohedoro (haven't read it yet, but I do know the main protagonist spoiler[eventually ends up with a human head instead of his awesome reptile head anyway]). The rest I've never heard of. This discussion did just remind me that Juana and the Dragonewts' Seven Kingdoms is supposed to be coming out January next year. No Guns Life certainly gets point for being...unique with the main protagonist's design. XD |

Orenchi no Furo Jijou was brought up in the forums of the first lot of recommendations and it even has a short-episode anime (about 4 minutes each IIRC). I love that show, and I found the manga in a bookstore once but held back from buying it due to the embarrassing English name (Merman in My Tub)... Gugure! Kokkuri-san has a kitsune and an alien, both creatures that made the main list, and it's very fun since it's a comedy (it also will make you crave cup noodles). Speaking of kitsune, there's Kamisama Kiss (Kamisama Hajimemashita). They don't match up particularly well to the monster girl subgenre (and I know of their anime more than their manga), but at least they should be worth a shot. |

Why did you have to mention 'OH MY SWEET ALIEN'? *cries* Miyata-sensei RIP... I love ya for making me smile with one of the best manga ever

Should probably be mentioned that The Demon Who Became My Sister (Ane Naru Mono) was originally a hentai manga by the same author. I'm not entirely sure that the non-H and the H versions are part of the same timeline, though.
