2 SAO related games announced for PC recently...
I wonder if more will be announced in the future.

I'd be interested if they also put Hollow Fragment & Lost Song on PC. I'd prefer to get all the games, rather than just the third.

They're not really direct sequels in narrative.

I'm with ya there, but the SAO games are better than most, all 4 games released over here are pretty good. SAO hollow fragment and hollow realization plays similar, while lost song and Aw vs SAO plays similar...
not sure how people who never saw the anime will enjoy it, the story wont blow you away but as long as you like the characters, its a pretty decent way too spend your time.

Haven't played this one yet. But if it is anything like Hollow Fragment then I would say it is okay. Meaning it is a pretty basic and repetitive game but is alright for whiling away some hours if you have nothing better to do. The games are basic RPGs that only vaguely resemble the game systems from the anime and novels. I had enough fun to recommend it to fans of the series given a proviso. Not worth full-price, and if you are not a fan of the series, there are better games to play.

Well, as an alternate take on the SAO timeline, they actually are sequels in narrative since each of the main girls from each game has followed over to the next and Yuki didn't die. In Hollow Realization, Sinon does have a story arc that brings up her memories from Aincrad in Re:Hollow Fragments, for example.
