Wow, I'm surprised this is Anime Expo's first-ever live-action movie panel, given that Japan has released many such live-action adaptations (of anime and manga) in recent years. Hopefully, it's not the last! Granted, this is the first such film that I've been really interested in, but I'd also be up for live-action adaptations of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop (if they were to ever happen).
