Oh man... this had one of the biggest train wrecks of an anime adatations in years. I could almost follow what was happening at first but then it suddenly went into turbo and left everyone in the dust. They were self-aware at the end and just said "fudge it" just do whatever. In a way it was amusing. Great fights for the frst 3 episodes though.

Same. This manga had so muvh potential. But then I saw the Anime and it made me cringe. The animation was so meh and it was like no one tried to put effort into it. I need to catch up on the volumes though.

What really annoyed me was Toko's death (at least in the anime, don't know if the manga handled it differently). Not simply that she died, but that it happened in such a pointless manner. Like really, charging straight into the middle of a battle for no reason? Why'd they even take her along in the first place? It felt like they killed her for pointless shock value, but it was so stupid that I didn't even care, or at least not about the character.

it was nto pointless, it teached other anime characters to stop doing that.

Can't say much about the manga, but the anime was something else, an out of this world experience.

Well seeing as how plenty of other characters are still doing, I would say that no one paid attention to that lesson all too much.

Hear! Hear! I am not against the fact, but it was so pointless, felt like a move to make into the headlines. The only thing it managed is that I will not read a manga of said author, he can get a job as a salaryman for all I care.

I stop because of the horrid scene, I wanted growth but it was totally pointless, I don't know how bad the manga got afterwards. All I know was after that scene in the manga I was out.
