Nice, Spring Season officially begins. My Hero Academia S2 is off to a start so far although I wish they didn't recap so much. Still, it's a nice way to get the viewers back into the show again. Personally, I like the first season's OP song better although this season's works fine too.

From what I've heard recently, it's going to be a 2 cour show too so I'm pretty excited to see how much they will adapt! Excited.

Attack on Titan Season 2 is off to a terrific start! After almost 4 years, it's finally back.

Attack on Titan is finally back. I am happy to see that episode 26 picks up where last season left off. I am pumped, and things are crazy.

Here's to hoping MHA picks up next episode, since for the first 5 minutes or so I was wondering if I clicked the recap by mistake.

Given how long it has been since the first season of Attack on Titan, I was worried that my tastes had changed and I would be less enamored with it than I was when I first watched it. I'm happy to report, not a whit. That's how you start a season! I mean I liked MHA's second season's premier but my love of Attack on Titan has been reaffirmed, and I don't care who knows it.

I was wondering where Granblue would start. I guess it would have been too much to ask to start it from three, but oh well. I'll probably still rewatch them. It isn't Rage of Bahamut but it seemed pretty decent to me, especially for a mobile game based anime. It seems Cygames makes sure adaptations of their material are done with care, at least more than is expected of such productions

I missed the Attack on Titan craze when it started and only just recently sat down and watched the first season. To be honest it was a chore to finish and I was only going to check the premiere out of curiosity. I'm glad I did because this was very entertaining.

Funnily enough I was dreading AoT while looking forward to MHA and was disappointed by the latter. That unnecessary padding was such a downer.

The last three seasons were pretty lackluster for me so I'm glad that Spring 2017 is off to a good start. I'll definitely be following AoT and MHA, Not quite sold yet on Granblue but I'll at least give it three episodes.

Looking forward to seeing what else this season will have to offer

Bones is lucky MHA has garnered enough faith that we know its gonna be a great season cause that recap was inexcusable. 2/5 rate. I'm really looking forward to the season tho and I never had a problem with the pacing for season 1.

Haven't seen AoT yet so imma go do that now.

I get the feeling they're restarting Granblue from the beginning just in case people missed the original January airings of the first two episodes or to get people refreshed for what's to come.

It makes sense from a marketing standpoint- new viewers would be lost if they started from episode 3 right off the bat. And while viewers who have seen the first two episodes might complain, I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a few who wanted to get caught back up after a three month period.

^That may be part of it. I think they also did it to give them more time to work on the show, which isn't a bad thing. I'd rather they take the time to do it right than get it out quickly.

HeroAca was as awesome as I expected, I loved the way we went through all the characters, the recap was cool, especially considering who was introduced through it, which will ultimately mean quite a bit when we meet him. The OP felt much better armonized than the first season, and the ED with all the girls was just beautiful.

Excellent way of portraying all of the character's quirky personality through the designs just like in the manga, the attention to Iida's hand movements as well as Ochaco being a lovely dork. Just, awesome. Comparing it to AoT is rather unfair considering how long the seasons are going to be, MHA and AoT are running at completely different speeds.

AoT was as entertaining as any episode, it still has the same visual issues regarding the 3D backgrounds outdoors, they look as plain and boring as in the manga, which is quite the shame considering the action is often pretty cool looking. I agree that the change of directors is indeed a step up, the last scene was pretty well handled and left quite the impact without being overbearing, spoiler[although the character is not even that huge of a loss so.]

The OP...sorry, but it's very boring. It's mostly a throw-in of characters gearing up (a weak rehash and extension of Mikasa in training gear in the 2nd OP), and just some shots of Titasn walking with the same color filter of the very first OP. Except some cool 10 seconds, nothing of this OP says anything new for this arc, it's saying "Hey, we're still fighting Titans so hope you like that!", hell, even the cool 10 seconds after the first minute aren't even that iconic if you haven't read ahead of the manga. Thank God Arifumi Imai was there anyway because it was just a snorefest. The heart thing was a good idea though.

The ED tho, very cool song, very neat visuals.

I kinda want to try Granblue but everything looks just so...divorced, none of the characters feel like they're living inside that world, it just doesn't match up at all and it's super jarring. The project is trying to be overtly ambitious and it's honestly not having the effect it was pretended to have. Heck, it didn't even make it in time for when it was supposed to air, the Winter Special was what became instead of the actual airing last season.

GBF's demolishing everyone Sale wise, it's not even funny... i guess that's what you get when you put Exclusive SSR's + Gacha tickets on the Blu-Rays and have the backing of 14 Million downloads... I think pretty much every blu-ray volume of GBF is on Amazon's top 100 Neutral

It would be foolhardy not to make other seasons....

Am I the only one who is feeling a bit depressed because so very few shows are premiering today? I am following AoT, but the other shows I care about are premiering until the middle of this week and next week.

The spring 2017 Anime that I am most looking forward to seeing is Sin Nanatsu no Taizai for obvious reasons.

The AoT S2 ED is, uh, uniquely horrifying. That's a really creepy song.
