Playing the rerun card again, huh... Well, that was expected with anime being too close with the manga final arc. But the main thing - will this rerun include the new episodes, like the "third" season? Because if it will, it will be really cool, and this can easily break some problems with non-adapted manga chapters.

As someone, who adds cast members to the encyclopedia, I've got one technical question:
how do we treat cases like this? Should the characters, who appear in the rerun be credited in the encyclopedia, or should we keep entry only to the new staff?

Not before the ending of manga for sure. Animation team already implied that they're going to bring the series to the full, but the final arc isn't nearly on it's end.

Should be ignored tbh. if its the chapters that are not adapted. then it should be a special case like Gintama': Enchousen to not mess up the new season and its been done before. it wasn't counted. so why coun't it now?

I KNEW the 4th season will only be one cour!!  I do admit I almost got fooled when the new theme songs were announced.

Odds are the series will go into the final arc after the reruns. Last time they did reruns they aired new episodes with them, so they may even adapt missing manga chapters
