Or you could do
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArtVty.jhtml?itemNo=608332 It's the same link GATSU posted, only the word "Anime" isn't highlighted every time in the article. Anyway, that's great for the Israeli anime fans. Of course, the article would have been better if the author had bothered to do any background research. |

Anyway, this is good news for those fans not living in a heavily otaku populated area. I'd like to see this convention's stats a few years from now. Hopefully, it'll grow. |

At first glance, I thought it was supposed to be a big Hostess Zebra Cake. XD |

I just wanted to make it clear that this was by no means the first convention held in Israel. It's just that the team leader behind this one has a very well known tendency to say that anything she does (that has to do with anime) is first of it's kind and all that.
The poor organization, poor PR (during the convention when people had complaints) and very aggressive way of dealing with ANYONE who rightly complained have all made the s!#$ hit the proverbial fan big time over here. And now she claims she's the first, biggest and is the savior of the Israeli anime community? *sigh* - An annoyed Israeli anime fan Last edited by Random_Otaku on Sat Aug 06, 2005 10:48 am; edited 1 time in total |

Does this convention have a name or a web site?

If Gainax had been running the con, it would have been "Kibbutz Ga'Inax," with fans put to work farming apricots and making HE IS MY MASTER merchandise.

Ohoho... I sort of KNEW it was you, even without looking at the poster's name . Indeed, Daiconism might be the answer... now bring on the really cheesy Zeon jokes |
