Or you could do

It's the same link GATSU posted, only the word "Anime" isn't highlighted every time in the article.

Anyway, that's great for the Israeli anime fans. Of course, the article would have been better if the author had bothered to do any background research.

the article wrote:
Anime, for those not in the know, is Japanese animation. You've probably seen it around - huge-eyed characters with tiny mouths and elfin features, often taking on dragons or evil sorcerers with their fantastical magic powers, or massive, lethal samurai swords.
Well, that's one way to say it. Another thing with the definition of manga, at least the author put the "I think" in there. Not completely wrong, and a pretty good article for someone who sounds like he/she has no idea what the whole thing is. (ANN's lexicon, anyone?)
Anyway, this is good news for those fans not living in a heavily otaku populated area. I'd like to see this convention's stats a few years from now. Hopefully, it'll grow.

Hilariously uninformed. Laughing

Congratulations to all you anime fans in Israel who attended. I hope you guys had fun. Wink

I just wanted to make it clear that this was by no means the first convention held in Israel. It's just that the team leader behind this one has a very well known tendency to say that anything she does (that has to do with anime) is first of it's kind and all that.
The poor organization, poor PR (during the convention when people had complaints) and very aggressive way of dealing with ANYONE who rightly complained have all made the s!#$ hit the proverbial fan big time over here.
And now she claims she's the first, biggest and is the savior of the Israeli anime community? *sigh*

- An annoyed Israeli anime fan

If Gainax had been running the con, it would have been "Kibbutz Ga'Inax," with fans put to work farming apricots and making HE IS MY MASTER merchandise.

I'd be annoyed too. Well I'm betting in the future, there will be more anime cons, which are hopefully not going to cause trouble.

Ohoho... I sort of KNEW it was you, even without looking at the poster's name Very Happy. Indeed, Daiconism might be the answer... now bring on the really cheesy Zeon jokes Wink
