Eh, no complaints. It'd be kinda cool if Yoji Shinkawa (Metal Gear Solid) did G.I. Joe artwork though

Looking goooood. Great toys too, although I haven't collected G.I. Joes in years (my wallet can only take so much). Now we just pray the writing is up to par as well and we may have a winner.

These designs are nice, though the helmeted Cobra Commander brings back memories of the original show's terrible final season (GI Joe was never Shakesphere or anything, but ick) CC always looks better with the cloth-with-eyeholes on his head. It's creepier than the faceless mask or the helmet, and it makes you wonder how on Earth it always stays in the same place.
Anyway, I just hope they remember to have every other sentance CC utters begin with "YOU FOOLS!" (ex: "YOU FOOLS! GI Joe will never find our secret base!" spoken five seconds before GI Joe finds their secret base.) |

GI Joe Mecha! If you can put GI Joes in those, I am so buying them. Love the character designs |

I'm hoping they do at least a few pointless comedy "filler" episodes. "Day of the Viper" is my favourite episode for a reason, you know?
Also, they should do a pointless WTF? "filler" episode on par with "The Gods Below" (the one when the Joes and Cobra go to the Egyptian afterlife). |

From what I hear, Sigma Six is an OVA, not a full-fledged TV show.
But if it does become a TV show, we need anime Sergeant Slaughter! |

They should have Japanese-themed "knowing is half the battle" segments. I'm waiting for something on seppuku.

Nope, it's a full fledged TV show coming to 4Kids TV this fall. I doubt Hasbro would have nearly scrapped their 3 3/4" and 12" lines for the new Sigma scale if it was just a short direct to video series. The actual animation designs look better than their 3D toy counterparts. Let's see how the actual animation turns out. Bring it on Gonzo! Emerje |

Well opinion so far as I can tell is pretty much divided down the middle, for both my Anime fan and G.I. Joe fan friends.
I've been a long time fan of G.I. Joe and Anime is my favorite entertainment medium and art form, so I have very high hopes for this series, and with GONZO's signature on the product I'm very confident. |
