If Viz doesn't screw up the video quality, I'd gladly buy the R movie on Blu-Ray. I have a certain fondness for it.

Now, if they could release the rest of the TV series on Hulu and home video.

I am excited about this, and we get the short Make Up! Sailor Senshi just like in Japan. It feels like it is 1993 in Japan.
And Ben Diskin is awesome, though to be honest to really be authentic to the Japanese experience, I wish it was Brian Beacock voicing Fliore. |

Out of the three movies, the R movie is hands down my favorite. Being able to rewatch it with Viz's cast, AND in theaters, will be a blast. I'm already liking the casting choice for Fiore too!
I'm also looking forward to the dub of "Make Up! Sailor Guardians". It's nothing particularly exciting, but the fact an undubbed special is FINALLY getting dubbed is certainly worth celebrating.
All 200 episodes of the TV series are up on Hulu subtitled. We're just waiting on the dub and home video releases now. |

The whole series is available subtitled on Hulu (which you now have to have a paid account to use), and the first half of the S season is available on Tuesday. |

The episodes are still available for free users. You just have to watch via Yahoo View instead of Hulu. |

yes Yes YES! This is the best possible news! And to think it'd get announced just as I'm watching the blu ray. I really hope it comes to Illinois, I'll see it in a heartbeat, even though I'm gonna end up buying it regardless . I've been waiting for the movies to be dubbed since Viz acquired the dubbing rights. I've never gone into detail, but I absolutely love Viz's dub. Even though I grew up with the DiC version, it's clearly inferior to Viz's.
The only thing is I can't watch the new dub and not picture the voices as other characters. Like how the VA for Sakura from Naruto is voicing Mercury, or how the VAs for Ichigo and Rukia are voicing Artemis and Luna. |

I'll definitely be going to see this movie if it's playing somewhere in my area and I hope that it is because I haven't seen this movie in a while.

Honestly the Viz Dub is awful, you can say whatever you want about DiC, but at least they added personality to the Sailor Scouts along with hilarious, relatable humor. The Viz dub sounds simply generic and like a kiddie version of Bleach.

A lazy and predictable casting choice for the main villain in the dub.
