I understand The Great Passage is streaming on Amazon UK (went live yesterday IIRC with no real announcement or other fanfare). Not on Amazon US when I checked earlier this morning..

Cool, good start, finally an English dubbed release for this.

I'm curious about this too, I'd like to get it on blu-ray.

Not necessarily. Crunchyroll nabbed the home video rights for Kabaneri, even though Amazon has the streaming rights on lockdown.

Will it only be streamed as dub, though? So far it looks like it.

Yeah, hopefully another company works it out.

You understand correctly if you search Amazon.co.uk you can easily find the link to the episode but those of us in the US are out of luck.

I tweeted Amazon Video today and they literally said we have no clue. I encourage people who have Twitter to send messages to Amazon about this. Show them you are interested and upset it's not up. I can't imagine Japan said it was okay to show it in Europe but not in North America.

I thought GKids had already announced they had the home video rights?

They probably do. Home video rights aren't the same as streaming rights.

Yes, but not much, due to the assumption that kids would have a hard time reading subtitles consistently. Crunchyroll streams a few kids anime they subtitled themselves, such as Mysterious Joker, Bonobono, and Shonen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan.
