I know, right? Two showings in Florida but they're both in the same general area, 5 hours away from me in the heart of Zika land. This hurts even more than Funimation's inexplicable decision to not include my home state in their screenings at all the last four times in a row. At least in that case it was for something I've no strong attachment to prior...

Be careful what you wish for. If the reaction on social media is anything to go by, this series has adopted a notably sombre tone quite quickly.

That was the third film. I haven't seen them, but I believe the poster has two films to prepare themselves.

So did everyone else! And yet the tearful deluge still came forth.

Why no mini poster when I first saw it? D,:
Movie 3 definitely had a lot of tears, but they did still manage to squeeze in some genuinely funny moments here and there, and most seem to agree it's the best one so far. Just remember to bring tissues if it comes to theaters, lol. I'm hoping the first did/does well enough to warrant more! Had a ton of fun at my screening.

I'll go with, "For the love of god, hit my dang country!" Not just Americans who like Digimon on this continent.

This is par the course for Digimon. If someone is truly a Digimon fan, they should be prepared for there to be a darker tone to hit the series eventually.

I came in to post the exact same thing. And I even skipped work to go and see the film that night. :/
Oh well.

And of course, it comes to theaters the day I have work. -__-
I hope it's not just a one night only thing again. I so was disappointed I wasn't able to attend the premiere.

They should have used 18 theaters on the 9/15 showing and the 400+ theaters currently. Seriously, if you want as wide of an audience, then use select theaters then go for hundreds more, not the reverse.
