Kira on here makes me laugh. Kira relies heavily on his MS more than his own skills. After all, he's a programmer and not a pilot.
Also; no Kuro? Its not Super-exempt given Simon and Guy are listed.

It's a fair poll, since it's about the skill of the pilot, not how powerfull the mecha. Amuro is, obviously, the best. Kira should indeed be second since he was genetically modified to be as close to perfection as possilble.

The fact is that Kira needed some lady skills before he can even reach his god-status. So Lacus is actually the strongest pilot because she piloted Kira. Lacus is the most powerful character in Gundam, I tell you, and she doesn't even have to do any fighting.

Yeah, this list is kind of a mess, It's mostly just a popularity poll. Shinji wouldn't make the list otherwise since he's almost never in control when he does something good and I'm aghast at Kaworu's presence (maybe he does something in Rebuild 3?)
How did Hikaru beat out Maxamillion Genius? Where are Pilots like Yazan Gable or Ali-Al Saachez that are a sheer terrors on the battlefield (and tend to be beaten by a bit of Deus Ex Machina)? Why is Chirico so low? You could even offer some debate as to whether Lelouch and Inaho deserve a spot here as their actual skills at controlling mecha are secondary to their ability to fomulate and execute plans. |
