Oh thank goodness!
Hopefully this would not remain as tramatic memory for her for a long time, unfortunately it probably will, including to herself and her career

Get well soon. I think she wont be able to sing again after that incident but still it's good to know she can survive that attack.

Awesome. Would have been terrible if she had died.

First and Foremost, this is a wonderful sign of her recovering. Second is to continue to pray / hope for her recovery to be complete and for her to have the strength to resume her career with great success.
As for the man that assaulted her, the Japanese Legal system needs to work it's way thru to a just punishment.

Thank God. I'm glad she's ok.
Poor girl needs her justice. If Japan still have the death penalty I hope they use it. The crazy b***ard.

Products of Japan's idol industry. A result of behavior they encourage [because it makes them some mad cash].

This kind of encouragement is corporate tyranny and almost cost an idol her life, it must change immediately. and the police need to be reprimanded for their lack of response before the stabbing took place.

I'm glad she regained consciousness, thats one strong girl ! I doubt she will stop performing because of this incident.
Now this guy needs to be punished very very very harshly. The returned gifts maybe actually done by the managers, there are lot of reasons why it was returned, and this loser took it personally. I think some jail time isn't enough punishment for attempted murder towards an innocent woman, I just hope he's not treated like some victim, as if he's some kind of hospital patient with a mental disorder... mental disorder my ass, he perfectly knew what he was doing, he's not 5 year old, and 5 year olds know better.
Death penalty for this guy. The world don't need murderers with no purpose in society, who just exist to use up resources and taxes,

I was about to say the same thing - this isn't about the gift, or what Mayu Tomita or her manager did or didn't do. It's about the culture of obsession created by the idol industry.

Even if I am ultra negative about Japan's stalking and stuff being changed, at least I am positive that Tomita is recovering.
