Wait, that's the actual trailer? After Zac brought it up in ANNCast I checked it out, but I thought this one was a parody of the actual trailer which I never found- Holy shit, that's genuinely terrible

I am not a MM fan, but I really feel for those that are, and that have to deal with all of this crap.

Okay, the explosions look a bit like pizzas, I'll give it that. If this is the final polishing, I guess this'll be another one of those developmental hell disaster games - hopefully The Last Guardian isn't like that. I will say, though, that the gameplay graphics are pretty good - and that's what matters right?
As for the narration, it's corny, but only the anime line is insulting at all. I'm guessing the narrator is trying to get the tone of the overall game right. Beyond that, he's only ever giving the gameplay details, and it's kind of his job to patronize. Oh and - I actually took the salutatorian to prom while an anime fan and didn't cry. EAT IT!
And as for Sega's post... If you were really sorry you would have used a Sonic design that wasn't the one on the cover of Sonic 2006. I bet you're just gloating that Mighty No. 9 won't be the next big thing - OR WILL IT!?!

For all the crap that this game has gone through since the beginning. If this is the end result, just refund everyone's money back.

DiGiorno's Pizza and that new AVGN game are also taking potshots at the trailer.

The pizza explosion is priceless. Glad to see the Sonic twitter is maintaining its game.

All this Mighty No. 9 controversy and all I can think is "Gunvolt 2 HYPE!!"
Funny to think a below-the-radar title Inafune never really talks about will have paid for and released a sequel in the time it's taking the crowdfunded golden child to get its crap together. The Zero and ZX games were my gateway drug anyway, so I was never beholden to nostalgia for its own sake.

That trailer was just plain Awful just like this whole Mighty No. 9 fiasco which just goes to show be careful what you back on Kickstarter. Also that Sonic tweet did make me feel a lot better.

After watching that poorly made trailer of Mighty No. 9, my appetite for pizza has returned...if only temporarily.

Well, Inti Creates is an already-established game company whose leaders know how to manage production schedules and cycles. Comcept USA is a company that seems to not have any such person at the helm.
Falling severely behind schedule is a story I see very often with startup companies and their first projects. It's why so many of them crumble before they can even establish themselves. On the other hand, if a startup can get their first project out and make enough money to make a second, most of the time it'll be a lot better about following its schedule.
