Sheer magnificence. All the Kudos bars to Jeremie Carreon for crafting this. :)

I was sorely hoping someone was singing off key in Japanese, either sixties style or GIGANTOR! style. Other than that, lovely.

Actually it is referencing 70s mecha titles, judging by movements and styles they seem to be Voltes V and Mazinger Z. However, the coloring is off, it is mostly gray and blue when such anime had more lively color schemes. On top of that there is a lack of lyrics in the music, is it hotblooded? Epic? Hopeful? It doesn't tell you what you're in for.

Coolness. Now imagine if Trigger or Dynamic Pro took notice and decided to make a mini project.

Just needs Ichiro Mizuki singing and it would be perfect.

I was hoping for a little more, honestly. Felt rather static, then some parts like where the kaiju blow up were animated really well.

Kind of like...a 70's mecha anime, would you say?

Yeah I wasn't sure which Era it was in. I thought "Either sixties or seventies," so I took a guess. I couldn't check 'cause I'm on my phone. Almost said eighties for some reason, I don't know why.
Anyway, still needs singing.

Yes, more "Aniki!!!"
We need the 5 heavenly OS voices, Ichiro Mizuki, Mitsuko Horie, Masato Shimon and Isao Sasaki.
With music compositions by Shunsuke Kikuchi and Chiaki "Chuumei" Watanabe.
I listen and own a lot of these mecha OSTs which is why I can call forth these names.
But if you want to go more updated, there's Hironobu Kageyama, Masami Okui and Masaki Endo for rock vocals

TBH, I think they're going for a more Gatchaman-esque look.

That was really great! What I think they should do is if they're going to do a "Pacific Rim" animated series,I think it should be done in the style of a sixties or seventies anime. Just think of this guys,an Americanized version of a sixties or seventies-style anime. What's your opinion of this, gang?

Reminds me of the original Gatchaman without the Science Ninja Team.

Checked the guy's Linkln page, no wonder he was influenced by Voltes V, he's a Filipino or at least, knows how to speak Tagalog.
