Okay, I believe that Akira Inoue is actually at least 3 people. I saw a strange mix of credits and took a closer look at the sources given for his credits on ANN. I think we have:
井上 明, a production/planning person (most of the credits) 井上鑑, A musician which Google romanizes as Inoue Kan. 井上あきら, an animator which Google romanizes as Akira Inoue also. See my notes below. Music Bosco Daibōken (TV) : Music Arrangement (OP, ED) Source 井上 明 not found on page. Google translated something(s) to Akira Michikawa, Eisaku Inoue, and Inoue Kan. Having trouble searching this source. Galactic Patrol Lensman (TV) : Theme Song Arrangement (OP) Source 井上 明 not found on page. However the source credits the OP theme song arrangement to Inoue Kan (井上鑑 romanized by Google) Harlock Saga (OAV) : Music (ED) No source. Lily C.A.T. (OAV) : Music No source. Sonic Boom Squadron (OAV) : Original Music No source. Production/Planning Chikyū Monogatari Telepath 2500 (movie) : Producer Source 1 Source 2 Source 1 doesn't display normally and is hard to search, but Google translated the page and Akira Inoue shows up as a producer. Mori no Youki na Kobito-tachi: Berufi to Rirubitto (TV) : Producer No source. Okawari-Boy Starzan S (TV) : Planning Source Google says Akira Inoue (井上明) was a planner (企画) Outlanders (OAV) : Planning Source Not a useful source. Shōwa Ahōzoshi Akanuke Ichiban! (TV) : Planning Source Doesn't translate very well, but Google put an Akira Inoue in there. Couldn't figure out the task though. (The) Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross (TV) : Planning ADV DVD box (The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross (TV) : Producer Source In English, lists Akira Inoue as producer. (The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? (movie) : Producer Source In English, lists Akira Inoue as producer. Yattodetaman (TV) : Producer Source Google says Akira Inoue (井上明) did something involving planning/production, but it's buried in paragraph form and I can't tell exactly what he did. Yoroshiku Mechadock (TV) : Planning Source This source seems completely unrelated to me... Wow, that took a long time... And I'm going to be even less efficient trying to find sources for the un-sourced entries, so I think I'll just leave it at this. |
