Ok, I want to start something, but I have the same problem as ever. When I'm in front of the store, with lots of different collections and lots of new chances, I can't decide Anime hyper.

Well, I've been wondering for something which...Er...Let's say, I like stories that may have something of fantasy. I mean, not exagerated. I don't want to see a huge God who destroys worlds just with a wish. No, more simple, a few powers or strange things, but nothing out of reality.

About the "Bit Love". I'm not bothered if the story has some love things inside of it. Unless it's completly the basic thing of the story, of course. I mean, Ayashi no Ceres is a good example, where there's a few "magician" elements and something of a "nice story". However, I don't mind if it doesn't have anything of this. I just don't want some rude guys doing all, I prefer something sweeter and cuter^^.

Ok, I don't wanna continue with this or I'll just bother you, hehe. Anyone knows anything I can like?

Try xxxHOLiC or Tokyo Babylon. They both take place in Tokyo and they both have people who use their abilities to help others although they have completely different reasons. I don't want to say anymore because I'm not real good at explaining stories without giving something away. Anyway, That's my suggestion.

Oh yeah, there both by CLAMP, too.

I'd have to suggest basically anything by CLAMP and anything by Yu Watase, with the exception of Imadoki (so far), her stuff usually has some sort of supernatural element and lots of romance to them.

Immortal Rain - talks about an immortal being trying to find peace in his life and his young female companion whose father he killed.

Pretear - your basic fantasy shoujo based loosely on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

Faeries' Landing - a manwha that's like a kookier version of Ceres involving a faerie who's stuck on Earth and her human friend who is doomed to experience tons of evil affinities.

Please Save My Earth - Reincarnation, psychics, imagine an older version of Sailor Moon with lots less sparkles and hearts.

Juvenile Orion - Imagine a really, really watered down version of X condensed into 5 volumes.

Yami no Matsuei - shouen-ai, but you have pretty boys playing around with supernatural foreces.

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne - I love Arina Tanemura and this has recently been licensed by CMX, so look for it. Tells of a girl who is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc and uses her powers to seal demons. Kinda cheesy, but it's really pretty and has that element of romance with supernatural in it, especially at the end.

Oh, there are probably lots more but my mind isn't working right now. I'm sure other people will suggest more.

Magic Knight Rayearth sounds to your fancy. It's about three girls from Tokyo who are called to the magical world of Cephiro in order to save the kidnapped Princess Emeraude. It sounds like a real straightforward plot, but the twist at the end of the first series is VERY unexpected.

When it comes to fantasy, I'm always partial to Lodoss War.

Well, this is something that I forgot to tell, but I don't like anything of CLAMP. Let's say...Tokyo Babylon. Got it yesterday...I still haven't finished and I'm already hating the story and the autors...u.u. So better, please, no CLAMP.

Yuu Watase, yeah, I know her. You were probably refering as series as Fushigi Yugi, Ayashi no Ceres, Alice 19th, etc. Well, I've read the Fushigi and Ceres, not yet Alice, but...It isn't interesting, for me...

I was expecting some of those mangas that not many people know, and they're really good...

Well...I guess you can go wrong with CLAMP. I really would recommend Tsubasa or XXXHolic. Those are 2 of the "newer" CLAMP things. Tokyo Babylon really only appeals to "CLAMP whores" and big fans of X/1999. But, if you don't like CLAMP...can't force ya to like 'em! Anime smile

Well, I read Tsubasa, but I can't consider someone the "shojo queens" just for one story.

About Tokyo Babylon. I know, I've been recently speaking about it with you at another topic, but at this is for recommendations, I'll just say a few things.

I didn't like it. I'm still asking how could that woman jump from the Tokyo's Tower without no one could notice it...Oh, no! But someone carries her dead body! Well, there's a mistake there. I'm still asking how could Sei and Subaru inside the tower when it's closed...There are a lot of things without sense. The only thing that I liked is the scenes when Sei is getting near to Subaru and then he says "You find me sexy?". That's good, thought.

So, if someone has read Tokyo Babylon, I'm not looking for something as it. I'd like "real" stories (making sense within the possibility), and not those strange characters, same as Utena.

I'll check the Encyclopedia for the other titles...

Gosh, it's hard to think of a title with supernatural elements AND romance that doesn't have "those weird type" of characters. From what you described I would've thought Yu Watase or CLAMP would be dead on...

My brain fails me at this point and the only "real situation" stories that come to mind don't have any supernatural elements in them.

I will think harder...

I'm not sure if it fits your latest specifications, but DN Angel perhaps? It's all pretty... realistic except for the fact that the kid can transform into a phantom theif.

Oh, well, thanks Lianncoop (you too, Littlegreenwolf). I know, I ask for something really impossible, xD. However, I didn't say I don't like Yuu Watase, is just that except Alice 19th, I've seen most of the other series.

D·N·Angel...Hum...Probably I'll check out, most people say it's also good, and for your description, maybe I'll like it^^

There's a manga called Eerie Queerie! that might fit you description. To be honest I haven't read it yet but it looks like a good story. It's one of the next things on my to read list.

I also wanted to clear some things up for you about Tokyo Babylon. That women didn't jump from the Tokyo Tower. She jumped from another building and her spirit ended up there. Also Subaru was hired by the Tokyo Tower so that's how he and Sei got in after hours. Now that I think about it I can see where you can get confused. It doesn't really make all this clear.

I hope I was able to help.

Eerie Queerie was really good for the first volume. The last three volumes were of decreasing mediocrity. Basically...there is no story - just a whole bunch of boytoy luvluv tug o' war.

I'm trying here, but mostly all that I can think of are vampire ones, like Model or Hellsing, or very common ones such as Fruits Basket. Oh, and Desert Coral has a kid living in a normal world and in his dreams goes to a different realm, and slowly the two worlds start to come together, at least that's the impression I got.
