Does anyone know what time Champloo is on? My guess would be they put it in primetime, figuring it would be huge, and that it couldn't compete with rival shows, so they moved it to a slot that anime typically occupies.

since it's moving, does that mean they'e gonna restart the same episodes over again? that would seriously suck.

It comes on Wednesday nights after midnight (2:30am Thursday) which is normal for anime like Champloo. Not that it matters now.... Could it be getting bad ratings in Japan?

I'm extremly happy to see Tactics will be a late night anime. The other anime by the same creator, MaLoki, couldn't show any of its murder cases because it was on the kid's saturday morning block or something along those lines. It made the show lose a bit of it's... mature nature.

Could we at least not speculate about Champloo until something is confirmed? Things of this nature come up all the time, but until it's confirmed, it doesn't really mean anything.

Well regardless of whether or not it means anything cause it's uncomfirmed, AnimeNewsNetwork has posted the news. That makes it fair game in this thread for opinions, speculations, etc. I don't know why they would post news from a message board, but it must be pretty reliable for them to go ahead with it.
Anywayz, what I'm curious about is that the way they word it, it sounds like that Samurai Champloo has been airing on BS Fuji as well as Fuji TV at the same time, so perhaps we won't have to wait for weeks for a new episode...assuming the news is true, of course.

haha, not even close. anime like Champloo would never be on primetime. I think it's on at like 1 or 2 in the morning.

He's talking about in Japan where anime is common prime time fare.

Yes I agree, except that everyone is taking it for a given that it is canceled on Fuji. ANN is not perfect, as much as I like it, and occasionally errors are made, or rumors are not confirmed. It's just like any other news outlet, sometimes having to make retractions. I don't mind people talking about Champloo possibly being canceled, I just don't like everyone jumping to the conclusion that it is 100% canceled on Fuji TV, that's all.
