Anyone know of any good OAVs or short series. Currently I'm watching RK and One Piece but I feel the need for a short series to watch with those. I have no intention of seeing the "reflections" RK OAV and i've seen The first OAV. Just list a bunch and I'll respond if i've seen it. Just make sure you like them, don't list crap. Laughing Thanks!

Well, FLCL is a good OVA. Also I hear that 3x3 Eyes is good but I've never seen it.

ok... thanks so far, I've seen FLCL like 5 times, so good... i've seen berserk, bastard, and 3x3 eyes (both OAVs). Sorry I didn't mention this Anime smile + sweatdrop , but I'm looking for like more of an action anime... rather than romance... keep the suggestions going Very Happy

Harlock Saga, the original Area 88, Riding Bean, Dominion Tank Police, or the original Bubblegum Crisis.

Can't really go wrong with that list.

Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture (about 100 minutes)
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (13 eps.)
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (13 eps.)
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (3 eps.)
Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge (4 eps.)
Ninja Scroll (about 90 minutes)
Record of Lodoss War OAV (13 eps.)
Rurouni Kenshin: The Motion Picture (about 100 minutes)
Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie (about 90 minutes)

I'm just looking at my shelf and pulling out some names of anime I know that have, at least, some kind of action in them. They may not be the best, but they're some suggestions, nonetheless. Smile

Well, the DVD release has both the 3 episode OAV and the Theatrical release. The theatrical release had more footage (including an exclusive bit with Dorothy Catalonia and extended battle sequences).

So the answer, balla, is both.

If you decide to watch Macross Plus, there is the OVA (4 eps) and the movie edition. Go for the OVA
