Wow, really is this the first showing in the U.S. I enjoyed this movie a lot but it is 11 years old at this point. Seems a bit dated at this point. Though If I lived in L.A. I'd got see it.

It's not the first showing in the U.S. I think ANN should rephrase it to "extended" theatrical release.

It's not the first showing, they've played it before at The Egyptian, I believe. It is, however, the first cinematic run.

"Seems a bit dated"? It's a revue theater. Smile

Well,I have heard of "Battle Royale" and the attempts to remake it. I'm not sure that Hollywood should do this. Then again,I'm not going to see it. It's just not for me and I DON'T want to see it by any means. "Battle Royale's" just not my cup of tea. It just isn't.

Erm... You do realise this is a showing of the original Japanese release, right?

I am well aware that it's the original release of "Battle Royale." I'm just saying I'm not going to see that,just like I'm not going to see the remake of this film,if they ever get it done. I don't want to see it. It just isn't for me,that's all.
