Ranmah Video Store Magazine June 20-26, 2004 by Edwin De La Cruz Anime Makes Licensing Show Splash Meanwhile, Crash Media Group Inc. and partner company Abrams Gentile Entertainment Inc. announced Ji-Koo, a new anime production from Kimio Ikeda, founder of Jin Productions and producer of mega-hits “Astro Boy,” “Speed Racer,” and Gatchaman” (Battle of the Planets). What sets this anime apart from the rest is that it is expected to debut simultaneously in Japan and the United States. Crowds were wowed after an exclusive preview was shown at the Crash booth in the exhibit floor. Crash Media Group also announced they will represent the series to the licensing. |
