All I'm basically asking is what's your favorite type of character. You know, quiet types, bad ass, eccentric etc.

The yasashii (big-hearted) heroines who always save the world through the power of love! Remember girls, just believe in yourself and everyone else in the whole wide world! Then you'll always be able to melt the heart of your boyfriend-turned evil minion. It helps if he doesn't kill you first, though. Anime smallmouth

First of all, welcome all you new people. Seems there are a lot all of a sudden.

My favorite characters are the anti-Shinji's, characters that go through all sorts of heck and in the end, turn into cooler people in the end. Some examples, the girl to the left, Izumi Himuro(p9), Reki (Haibane), Marlene Angel (Blue Gender). They don't need to save the world, or to even be the lead, just have high growth.

All the best,

Nani?

Bishounen, I think. I like the type like Vincent in FF7. Quiet and mysterious. Kinda like me, but people around me are having a bad influence on me lately....

I like a combination of the quiet type that are hellbent on ruining someones life until they're eventually dead, I.E. Legato, what a freakin bad ass. And then the real ego drivin characters like Demon Eyes Kyo, who talk all sorts of trash then end up whoopin your ass. Other characters are: Gene Starwind, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, Tsunami (T.O.T.D.M.)

Well there are the Anti-hero types like Dark Schnider (Bastard)
who ends up saving the village. Same goes for Orgun (Detonator Orgun) An invader from space who suddenly develops some fore of conscience, thus in turn protecting the earth from his fellow invaders of Evoluder.(If you like Tekkaman, then Orgun's your type of Anime.)

The classic reluctant hero types like Sho Fukamachi (Guyver) Akira Fudo (Devilman) and Kyosuke Date (Soultaker) are those who are through certain circumstances are "forced" into the hero guise. This adds more depth to the said character's background.

There's also your bumbling, likeable, F.U.B.A.R. heroes like Generator Gawl,Vash of Triggun and tekeshi (Hurricane Polymar OVA) that changes their goofy persona when taking on the bad guys.

The Stoic ones also get my vote I.E. Captain Harlock,Heat guy J
And what makes Cutey Honey appealing (besides the "costume changes" Wink ) is her strong sense of Justice and the punishment she dishes out on her nemises. Chicks with guns that provide comedy refief are among my faves like Burn up's Reimi,Gunsmith Cats Rally Vincent etc. Noir took was a bit too dramatic although a good series. Angel Cop is one mena b*tch when she's in a gunfight. Twisted Evil

However, I'm not one for the androdgenous Bishonen types I.E. Clamp's characters. (Tokyo Babylon) But i guess it appeals to the female demographic at least.

I like the guy in my avatar. Well, when he was in Kyoto, anyway...

Saitou's not bad either. I also like the Shishio-type.
