Alex is awesome! You can't escape!
I actually read an article that had an official Capcom USA rep. (Christian Svensson) say that they are currently "investigating" if they could bring Tatsunoko vs. Capcom over as a nation wide release.
It's not a guarantee, but it still gives out hope to those who can't bother to import. .

Chrono Trigger on the DS?! What is this "teaser site" of which you speak?
SquareEnix: Confirm this for me and I will preorder it one second later. I am not kidding.

Just found the teaser site and it's painfully obvious it's for Chrono Trigger. This game is mine the moment it's out.

I could tell it was Chrono Trigger the second I heard the clock noises.
I can't wait to find out more!

You sure it's CT, and not that alleged threequel which ended up being vaporware?

Gatsu: It's vaguely possible given that even though Square abandoned the "Chrono Break" trademark in North America, I believe they still hold the "Chrono Brake" trademark in Japan, but come on, this is SquareEnix. They may still be making new games but remakes and ports are really their bread and butter these days, especially when it comes to the DS. (The World Ends With You and DQ9 not withstanding)

Chrono Trigger for the DS? Seriously? Probably the best news about a game coming to it, well, since the DS came out.

Ah, the Rayearth game, fond memories right there. Cheesy script and easy gameplay aside, I still feel that Rayearth for the Saturn is one of the better anime-to-game ports to this day. I even kinda liked the way certain events played out in the game better than in the manga.
Here's hoping CT really is getting a DS port!

I am also very excited about Chrono Trigger on the DS, especially if it is a remake because honestly, given today's graphics it's hard to play the older games when they aren't because the visuals get in the way. I never had a chance to play the original game, so this could be a great way to find out what it's about!

I agree with you. Though I myself am excited to see Dragon Quest 4 on the DS though. In the history of Dragon Quest, there has NEVER been a single Dragon Quest game on hand held console before in the 20 years Dragon Quest has been around.
However, I did enjoy Chrono Trigger. I just hope Square Enix made the puzzels sightly easier and added more save points. Or at the very least added save to the option bar where character stats are kept.

Author's talking out their ass, Alex is badass. This Article is WWWWWWWEAK!! As for 8 bit mega man 9...classic series ended at 8, X needs to do somethin like split off from the Zero series into some kinda alternate universe crap and continue for a few more sequels.
And where's that Rockman Dash 3!?
Damn what the hell is this guy talking about? Castlevania Misses Fighting Game Craze by 14 years? Dood are you paying attention to 08? It's the gosh darn big bang all over again! Stuff's droppin' left and right!..That said the game's probably gonna be garbage

Chrono Trigger on the DS?!
I think I just fainted from the overwhelming excitement.
Next thing you know they'll be announcing Earthbound for the DS, and my heart will explode from pure joy.

Chrono Trigger is one of those much heralded classics that I never got to play back in the day, so I'm greatly looking forward to it. Definitely a must buy for me.
