I just noticed that the encyclopedia now has 10,000 titles, so I wanted to congratulate everyone who has worked on it. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Anyway, my question is about the error reports I have submitted. I've submitted error reports for a couple titles (Urusei Yatsura, and A Dog of Flanders (movie)). I wasn't sure if there was a way to tell if someone had viewed my error reports and not acted on them because they thought they needed more information, or if they just haven't been noticed. Am I supposed to report errors here in addition to marking them in the encyclopedia? The only error report I made before these ones got acted on right away without me needing to bring it to anyone's attention. Was that just a coincidence? |

You're not supposed to report errors in the forum when they can be reported through the regular interface.
I don't know if anyone noticed the error reports but someone should get to them... eventually. Speed can vary a lot, but when there is doubt about an error report, it can get pushed back. For example, the UY info you reported is sourced from furinkan.com, and that's a LOT more authoritative than wikipedia when it comes to UY. But even if it takes some time, at least people who browse the encyclopedia will see those big red dots and be warned against trusting the data too blindly. |
