Hello everyone,
I was wondering... has anyone been to a convention that has a "RP room" or anything like that, where people in costume must be in-character as the person they're cosplaying? I haven't seen it, but somehow I'm sure it's been done. I'm generally interested in stories or examples of cosplayers who are actually acting out their roles... the more extreme and semi-psychotically into it, the better! It's always most exciting when people actually role-play out the characters, instead of just wandering around in costume but not making any particular effort. I'm all about the role-play... (Well, within reason... I think...) |

I haven't, but I read about events like that before. I think there's also a documentary about a similar activity, called LARP (live action role playing). It's about World of Warcraft LARPers.

I haven't done it myself, but people do it at cons. I've seen it set up before and talked about. Its supposed to be a lot of fun.

This is the first I've heard of it. I always see people at SakuraCon stay in character most of the time on their own...But that sounds like a lot of fun! I think I'll suggest it to the staff for next year's con. Sorry if I'm not much help though...
