Could Code Geass possibly inspire a North American blu-ray release?

Anime going Broadway on us lately?! Wonder how they're gonna do the big robots? Maybe wires like Spiderman but without the accidents? Pizza Hut should have a stand outside.

So they really went and did it, huh? Well, I'm fine with that.
The production staff isn't going to be blind to how amusing yet fitting a Code Geass stage play would be, whether it's aiming for drama, comedy or a combination of both...like the series itself arguably did. Going by the title, I'm guessing they'll focus on comedy and have the events take place in Ashford Academy, but you never know. The same thing goes for whether or not this stage production will include a musical number of some sort. Nevertheless, I'm actually far more interested in the other brief website update, which indicates they'll have a formal presentation on January 12th with more information for the new anime project. Not that knowing this particular detail changes anything just yet, but at least it's good to have a specific time frame. |

This is very ironic to me for over in the Katawa Shoujo forums there spawned a discussion of creating a certian stage adaption using the audience involvement in each of the path choices. (that would really affect the actors I kid you not).
However, I have proposed a musical adaption myself and am currently in discussion with the staff on giving me the green-light to start drafting the first act. *Fingers crossed* Maybe this is a trend now of days, especially if something hits Broadway with all the commercial companies like Disney taking big success with their animated movies being adapted over the years. |
