First off, let me say Hi to everyone, I'm new to this forum.
Anyway, onto business... I notice Best Buy has th Gasaraki box set for 100 bucks and I'm thinking of picking it up. However I would like to hear from anyone who saw it if it was any good or not, the amazon.com review did not sound too good, so I wonder what the word-of-mouth is. |

Personally I didn't like and didn't go any further than the first volume. I felt the story was dragged out and made more complicated than it should have been (and probably more complicated as the japanese originally had it as I'm starting to find that ADV is making a bad habit out of writing their own scripts rather than translating the originals, just watch Orphen with the english audio and japanese subs, you'll see.) Maybe it picks up in the next volume, but I dunno. The whole concept just didn't do anything for me.
But I'm just one guy, what does everyone else think? Emerje |

Well, if you need any help deciding, you can search ANN for Gasaraki reviews that were written in the past.
Personally, I really liked Gasaraki, and thought that while it started out slow, the ending was much better. |
