FUNimation's really on the ball lately, isn't it? Picking up Ouran Host Club, a bunch of Geneon titles, and otherwise pretty much dominating. I even caved in to getting the first Shin-chan set, despite my irritation over the dub-only format.

FUNimation probably makes me the happiest, yet poorest anime fan on the face of the planet.
All of these releases are so close together; I'm going to have to debate - food for my fangirl or food for myself. o_O
And October 28 is.....so. far. away. Ouran is a must have now kinda thing. D:

"Seven minutes of uncut action" has to be the greatest flub line I've ever heard coming from the mouth of any anime executive.
I demand a video of that line, now.
P.S. Boo-urns for no info on D.Gray-Man.

A question was asked about the possibilities of D.Gray-man being on TV. FUNimation answered with one of the last sentences in the article.

I second the demand for a video with that line, it's just brilliant!
Anyways, everything seems to be going smoothly for FUNimation, I wonder if they plan on continuing to pick up liscenses from ADV, and Geneon, particularly the ones that have ceased distribution from ADV. Namely 5 Centimeters Per Second - I hope someone picks this up again, because it seems I was too late when I made my order on Amazon.com last month.

30 license rescues and about 10 fresh licenses in the entire year and all you can say is "what else?". God, you're greedy.
FUNi's biggest strenght right now is quite easily distribution channels. It pioneered iTunes to great success and now is exploring Youtube. Backed by best-sellers like Afro Samurai, Witchblade, and the eternally popular DBZ, FUNi just keeps storming this market in every which way. More power to 'em!

I wished they would have mentioned The Story of Saiunkoku. Not because I am worried about it per se, but I would like to see this title (and some others) get more advertisement. I wonder if putting the first episode of an anime on YouTube would help sales of a series?
Mind you, I would be very happy to hear them announce a new artbox for the series, (a normal one that keeps the DVDs in their cases). In any case, Funimation is going to get most of my holiday budget.

It sure is, and myself and a bunch of other people I know can't wait to pop it in our DVD players.
