Recently I been watching karekano with some friends, one of them told my that the series Karekano is Chinese, I check the net and I didn’t find anything about it, I was wondering if anyone knows something about Karekano origin

Check the ANN Encyclopedia first before asking. It is a great resource for this stuff. Kare Kano is Japanese, in fact it is related to studio Gainax and directed by Anno.

It's Japanese...

And the manga and anime encyclopedia is useful for things like that...
