i watched onegai teacher (that's the dub version) but i thin that there won't be much difference between both of them,
you should watch it if you can, it is really a nice romantic story. Definately worth recommanding

I’ve seen it. Its.......alright. Interesting story and lovable characters. Pretty good comedy etc. I would rate it 7.5 out of 10.

I've stated it before and I'll say it again. My take on the series is that it takes the concept of falling in love and moving forward in an arranged marrige. The rest of the stuff going on is pretty much background stuff to give it a twist and make it more enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series, but I considered the dub to be very plain and boring. Then a friend of mine who has done some VA work, was able to summate it perfectly. He said it sounded like a bad rehearsal with a director who didn't give a damn about doing a good job.

Not exactly the best love story anime, if you ask me. I liked it well enough, but I would prefer Ah! My Goddess to this. It's a light enough series that you might show it to a friend as an introduction to anime love stories. I give it a 5.75.

If the dub was that bad...then I would recommend watching it in Japanese with subtitles. The original Japanese voice actors did a decent job IMO.

I have the entire series on DVD. As everyone else said, I agree, this is a pretty good show (not what chu would expect from Bandai Ent/ Bandai Visual: yes, Bandai Entertainment: no).
I must warn you the series gets extremely sappy in the middle (to the point where you can't watch it with another dude )... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
otherwise I found the series to be enjoyable (especially the OVA episode... funny as hell, which is good because the show started out a comedy)

you got a point there, I only watched 1 eps of the dub and Kei had the voice of someone who is 25 while he his voice should be the one of soomeone who is 15 years

That reminds me: Do make it a point to watch the subbed version at one point. You will likely find it is much better than the dub.
