It is most likely Davey Crocket because he is rather popular in American folklore. Though personally I hate the name and the series for that matter, but that is another story.

When I first saw G-Gundam and heard that name, I did a double take. Chibbity is a comanche last name, not sure of the meaning tho.

Charles Chibbity is the last is the surviving Comanche Code talker. He's a very nice man and I've seen him at the local powwows. ^^

When I first heard his name, the first thing that came to my mind was Jiminey Cricket (don't kill me for spelling that wrongly). But, I figure I can't make too big of a deal out of it--anyhow, he's always surrounded by all those women so the name can't be that bad.

I always thought Crocket was after Davey Crocket, and Chibidee was just making fun of your foreign names.

Who is this "you" you speak of? Do mean "your" foreign names as in American names? Because if you do, then it doesn' apply to me.

Yes, I live in Texas, but I'm not even American. Well, technically, I was born in Georiga, but moved here to Texas when I was about 3 months old. My parents are from Asia, so I guess I'd be Asian-American.

As for my name (Tony, which IS my real name by the way), my father came up with it after watching Dallas Cowboys great Tony Dorsett, run for a touchdown 99 yards from the line of scrimmage. And after I was born, he stuck with the name, and I'm now Tony (the "K." is my last name, which is 12 letters long, but sounds similar to the item "Campbell's Soup" Laughing ).


hahaha, believe it or not, that must've been a type I missed, anyway, I meant "our" as in americans.
