Negima Manga ending?

Has anyone read anything about the original Negima manga ending its run? I've been reading lately, gotten the impression that the manga is ending. Can anyone confirm this?

I very much doubt it. The series just started up a new arc after finishing the Magical World plotline. The rumors about it ending are probably derived from the movie, which is called Negima Final, and will diverge from the manga canon to create an ending.
