Well okay I think Im a bit confused on which Stand alone complex I actually watched. According to http://www.animenfo.com/search.php

There are 2 seasons of Ghost in the shell:Stand alone complex out there. Now I am uncertain just which I have watched or have yet to watch. The info on them both do not say much. The only differnce is I watched one with 26 eps yet...arg. So confused here...

If someone can clarify what is what that would be appreciated.
Thanks.

In the encyclopedia, it's listed that season one was in 2002, and season two will be in 2004. Going from that, my guess would be that you saw season one.

Check its encyclopedia entry and see if that clears up your confusion.

Animeinfo has some issues in their data. I think they don't moderate it very well.

GITS: stand alone complex is actually a 52 episode series (like Fushigi Yuugi). There probably will not be be two different 'so-called' series, just one long one.

Plus Innocence the new movie.

Cartoon Network is showing Stand Alone Complex in Febuary I believe. Hopefully, DVDs are soon to follow, as I don't get CN.

Nope. CN is showing "Witch Hunter Robin" in February. CN listed "Ghost in the Shell: SAC" as "probable" for sometime in the summer; "Wolf's Rain" was also listed as "probable" later this year.

I see that was confusing me the whole time. Both ARE 26 eps but they will combine season 1 & 2 for a whole 52. Now I get it. Thanks. The 52 threw me off big time.
