hilarious anime, anyone else seen it?
It has this 5 year-old boy who is all pervish and is always looking for big ladies. His mom goes all and stuff. Sounds a bit like, seen that, been there, but it's not. They have great jokes....and Shin likes to take his pants off and do a little dance. hilarious.

Seen parts of it... and wish the hell someone would go on and license it.
It's got some pretty ugly art... but the story can't be beat.

yea i've seen a few episodes, it's pretty hilarious how a 5 year old kid can do with wild imaginations. even his families are a bit 'unnormal'

I think some TV Station in Hawii has the rights to it but its only for Hawiii or something like that. because the few eps I have on tape have commericlas on them for the station. Im going to have to dig thru my box o tapes and see if i can find it still.

yes! first time I find Shin Chan in the encyclopedia, I'd no idea it was under 'Crayon' Shin Chan.

Yeah... KIKU TV broadcast it for several years, but they stopped in 2001, when it was licensed for broadcasting nationally in the US. Since then, they haven't run Crayon Shin-Chan.. of course, no one else has either. *sigh*

What, is this sort of the anime version of Calvin and Hobbes or something? A little kid goes around and terrorizes the populace? Sounds awesome!
Come to think of it, I seem to recall seeing Shin-chan on a bag of octopus flavoured chips or something at a local Asian grocery. Not that that's any help or anything...
