I always wondered if the series was timed to take place when the Kaikan would be closed for repairs or if it was a coincidence. Granted, I don't know a thing about the game it was based on, but if it was intentional then it was pretty shrewd and inventive.
Still I can't help but find this to be 10 kinds of awesome. |

I remember instantly recognizing that building the first time that I watched Steins Gate. I've actually shopped in that building several times on my various trips to Tokyo.
