This is just some utter randomness on my part:
You know, i've been re-reading Tsubasa, and like any true Clamp reader out there, i start looking for characters that i've seen in other clamp manga. I probably can't name them all, but so far: (Obviously: Characters from Card Captor) Sakura Sayoran Clow Reed Yuki Tomoyo (I'm happy that she seems to be getting a greater part in this one..although her part wasn't small in CCS, it just seemed like it) Touya (Sadly, we don't see Yue or Kero-chan) The three boys from Clamp Detective School (i can't seem to remember their names) X 1999 (lots of people from there... can't name them all, cause i never really read it) can anyone else name any? (so far, that's all i can remember) oh! and does anyone notice that the dimensional witch looks likes the character from Yuki-Hime (a 'one-shot') or was it my imagination? |

There is many characters from other Clamp manga because it was supposed to be crossover. From what I remember Tsubasa was made on the 15th anniversary of the CLAMP existence.
here is the list of crossover characters At the beginning I was disappointed Syaoran seemed to be the best example of Gary Stu I have ever seen. Sakura wasn't better either. Thankfully he became to be less annoying after Tokyo arc, and recently c!Syaoran gained my deep gratitude when he spoiler[killed Sakura's soul. Alas! it turned out she was also a clone ] Sakura was the best in Celes when she was missing in the action. I prefer Sakura and Syaoran from CCS. On the contrary is with Chi when I hate her in Chobits I liked her in Tsubasa where she had a brain but this time not a brain of a toddler. Obviously my favourite character is Fay I have a soft spot for mysterious characters. I like Fei Wong Reed too for his calmness and the fact that he doesn't make a big fuss when something isn't going according to his plan. |

Finding the crossover characters is what I've had fun with while reading the series. Especially when it came to the fact that Yuko is indeed an important character within the series, when her primary series isn't Tsubasa. I haven't read all the CLAMP manga yet, so I'm probably missing out on more characters than I should be, but I've still been able to recognize quite a few.

One of my favorite parts about Tsubasa is seeing all the characters I know and love from all my other favorite CLAMP series. Being a die-hard CLAMP fan, it's like a dream come true. My favorite recurring character, though, has to be Miyuki-chan. It's like playing Where's Waldo, but whenever they get transported to a new world, sure enough, there's Miyuki-chan running through the background...toast in mouth and all.
