I was looking into importing some of the Naruto DVD's and was worried that I might be getting bootlegs could someone recommend me a site or tell me how that I might know if it is legit or not. I have found some really nice boxed sets on ebay with all the nice artwork and all. Thank u for your help.

These are the real deal correct. I DO NOT want bootlegs. The other site I found was this [This URL is a known Bootlegging website]
and these looked awful good and well priced to be real. Again thanks for help.

If you want legitimate Japanese DVDs, I suggest going to one of two stores:

CDJapan Naruto Listings
amazon.co.jp Naruto Listings

Legitimate Region 2 (Japanese) DVDs are expensive, as you'll quickly notice. 3900 yen is about $36 per DVD, at the current exchange rate.

The first Naruto DVD has 1 episode. Subsequent DVDs have 3 episodes. There is NO Naruto Boxed set on either site.

Also, there are NO subtitles on legitimate Naruto DVDs, and all Naruto DVDs are Region 2. You must have a Region 2 (NTSC/Japan) DVD Player in order to play them.

Therefore, if you go shopping on eBay, do NOT buy anything with:
- English (or Chinese) subtitles
- "Region free" "Regionless" or "Any Region" DVDs
- 4 or more episodes per DVD (do some mental math; if it says 3 DVDs, then it should be 3*3=9 episodes. If it claims 26 episodes on 3 DVDs, then it's a bootleg.)

LOOK for DVDs that say:
- No subtitles
- "Region 2 Coded" or "Region 2/NTSC"
- 3 episodes per DVD

(Honestly, you're better off buying them new; the odds that you find a legit Naruto DVD on eBay are about as good as the odds of Bush finding Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq... which is to say; THEY AREN'T THERE.)
