Have the forum post length been cut down???
Or total input on one post have a new smaller limit? I've been kinda working on something which requires lots of links, and noticed that it won't allow very much on each page. |

Nothing has changed AFAIK; how big is that thing you're trying to post?

Well, I have already previewed two pages(I already know this will need to be in sections) and found that the post limit is about 8 KB of text(which is mostly links in phpBB code, size determined by Notepad/Wordpad standards). This amount turns into a reasonably long post. Yet for for my latest one it will only allow about 4 KB of text. Putting two more links in the text will give me an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Yet when I enter my previous 8KB attempts it still loads(previews) fine, strange? I have checked to see if something is wrong with the code on that section but it appears fine. I am only about 1/4 the way done, so if it continues this way then it basically doubles the amount of pages I will need as wel as separate.
Perhaps there is a links to text ratio I need to fill? Edit: Strange. I took text from other posts that are to be similar in length to what I am going for, and I am generating notpad files of up 45 KB! |
