Have you ever decided to skip those short previews at the end of an episode, maybe to possibly avoid any spoilers? Or do you tend to watch them regardless?
Most of the time, I find some previews to be fun to watch and I usually "bite the bullet" when it comes to seeing any kind of spoilers. As short as they are though, I sometimes skip them when I am about to watch another episode right after that.

I always watch them as they often have humorous commentary or the characters talking (or arguing) rather than a proper discussion of the next episode. Sometimes they show stuff you never see during the show itself as well.

It depends. I usually don't on DVDs, because I'm going to be seeing the next episode shortly anyway. I do love the alternate episode previews that some series do, like Fullmetal Alchemist (find the ouroborous hidden in the scene selection for each episode and there's an episode of 'Mirror Fullmetal' - Winry's version of Tobira no Mukou he on vol. 8 almost killed me with laughs). Also, there are some previews that are just plain fun, like the ones for the broadcast of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Sometimes the previews are funny, as has been said. They also hint at stuff you might not see or know. Even with all this I usually skip them. For something like Lucky Star, I watch the complete episode from beginning to end but for mostly everything else I don't really bother. Even if it is the next episode, I don't like spoilers at all.

If I'm at release with a show and have to wait a week to watch them then yes I do watch them. On DVDs or when I have the next episode already I just skip them.

Of course, I don't often encoumter spoilers in preeviews, or if I do they are very shallow, like what the story is about and don't affect the storline per se at all.
Plus, as mentioned, they are often very cute and funny and only take about 30 seconds anyway.

I usually don't watch them. If the preview makes the episode not look all that interesting, it puts me off watching it for a little while especially if it's an episodic series. Plus the potential issue with spoilers. I'd rather just be surprised about what happens in the next episode.

Texhnolyze had pretty nifty previews, I watched those. Didn't really give anything away, but it fitted in with the feeling of the show.

I skip them often times, but I do watch some. Paranoia Agents next episode previews were cool. I like how the old man ended with "And then....." and you see Lil' Slugger hit the screen. Haruhi Suzumiya's were also fun (Japanese Version).

Yes, I do. It bothers me if they don't have them. Although the ones for R.O.D were probably a bit lengthy. Those are also the most bizarre previews I've seen. Kare Kano's previews were really good, with Tsukino and Kano's voice actressess talking really fast. Always fun to watch those.

If I'm watching the show NOT on DVDs, or I'm even with the releases, I do. But if I've already seen the show, or I'm watching it on DVD I tend not to. But occassionally they are quite cute.

It really depends on the series or my mood. Mainly my mood. Most of the time, I skip over them because of time constraints and wanting to get to the next episode.

Yup, the same is true with me. When I'm in the middle of a marathon, I tend to skip them. Heck, I even skip the ending themes for some shows when I really want to get to the next episode.
That said, I usually skip the boring, "directly delivered with heavy voiced narrator for dramatic effect" previews. It doesn't help that the series that have those kinds of previews are the ones most easily wrecked by spoilers, meh... On the other hand, there are some series whose previews I always watch: stuff like Haruhi in broadcast order, Excel Saga with motor-mouth mode Kotono Mitsuishi, and this season's Bamboo Blade with the cute SD-mode preview presenters.
