Good show Speed Channel. This is a fun direction for you guys to take during the off-season.
I still love the whole GRX chapter of the series. The car so fast that no one can drive it.

Very good news. Now I just have to figure out where on DISH Network the Speed Channel is hidden.

I though Speed Racer was on Nickeloden? I'm confused.

I think Nick had a re-make of Speed Racer, not the original. I for one am excited to re-visit Spritle and Chim-Chim's mis-adventures. I haven't seen this show since it was on MTV way back when.

The 1997 (read: Suck. Ass.) remake of Speed Racer was on Nickelodeon for a while. But Speed Channel's planning on airing the original 1967 version (ran on Cartoon Network around 1997/1998).

On the topic of Speed Racer:
The Virgin Atlantic Airways has chosen a new slogan. Even though I have no idea who they are, their slogan rang a bell with me.
Go, jet set, go!

I'm with animaniac on saying Speed would be a nice place to have Initial D wind up (although it'd be ironic considering Speed would want the dub more accurate since motorsports IS their gig)
But I think that this is a move from Speed to appeal to nostalgia from their core audience of middle-aged car guys during the off-season where they usually air taped races of more obscure series and keep track of the "silly season" where drivers and teams shuffle around making deals.
It's a shame, because it'd still be cool.
