I was out at my local borders and I noticed that they had the first volume of the MI rerelease. It's in the orignal right to left format and it did have the lost chapters of Christmas and Godai studying for the exams. However since the lost chapters are put back in, this volume ends earlier than the original. The rerelease ends with Kyoko starting tennis as opposed to the puppet show in the original.
