Comic-con International also has their panel schedules up for those wanting to plan their days out.

This year seems so much less exciting then last year. I'll still have a good time, but this year they don't seem to come close to the big name guests they had last year.

Really? I'm so excited for this year, especially with Seki Tomokazu and Maki Murakmai coming. I can't even remember any of the guests from last year other than MUCC (and I don't care for rock music, so yeah...wasn't a huge deal to me). I'll definitely be hunting for some autographs this year.

Last year had Yoshiki, Hellsing creator Kouta Hirano, Nana Kitade, and a few others. This year seems kind meh.

I'm pretty excited as well. I don't know whether it's because I will have three busy, fun-filled days, or that I'm getting away from work for the weekend. I think it may be a little of both.

I understand that this is of extremely limited interest, but I must question the wisdom of scheduling the Otaku Generation / Podcasting event such that it overlaps with the Podcaster's Roundtable. It's also kind of odd to see one anime podcast getting a three hour block to themselves and every single other anime podcast combined getting only one, but what's more important is the simple fact that the audience for anime podcasts is still relatively small, effectively making it a niche group of a niche group. On top of that, many of the people who currently listen to anime podcasts listen to more than one, so scheduling these events opposite one another effectively splits the already-tiny potential audience into two.
Still, I really like how the full schedule is posted online before the convention. I wish all anime conventions would follow suit.

Come on, at the very least, it's OTAKON! It's always fun no matter who they have as guests.
And I'm looking forward to the Eminence concert

Most anime cons that I know of, do have their schedule posted online before the convention. It would allowed people to plan their schedule ahead of time.
Since I"m not a big fan of musical guests, I don't care who their musical guests are. They do have two big name seiyuu as their GoH. Although I'm disappointed that on Saturday Seki's panel is at the same time as Noto's autograph session.

I was annoyed by this too, but it looks like Noto has an autograph session on Friday too. Definitely going to that one so I don't miss out on Seki.

Im actually looking forward to so much. It sucks about the podcasting panels overlapping and the yuri is the same time as japanese street fashion. Besides that everything fell into place for me.
about the musical acts go see it anyway. besides it might be a good band. i was blown when I found out MUCC was awesome! they're music isnt bad. Then i realized i missed my chance to see them...sigh. The same thing happened to my friends with larc en ciel. sigh. So you never know unless you go. AAA could be a new fave.
I looking forward to the putting the man back in manga since the guys who do my fave podcast are in charge of it. plus the rave! Rave ON!
